93. The "discipline" staff of the Police, Fire Brigade and Prison Departments (including the Prison Hospital staff) should not in our opinion,

be eligible for a bonus: but in view of the affinit.s between the crews of the Police launches and those of the Harbour Department launches wo consider that the former should be exempted from this disability and receive the bonus. We understand from the Inspector

General of Police that this course will not load to dissatisfaction among the regular police.

For regular daily-paid employees ( as

defined in paragraph 90 above) we suggest a similar

system, i.e.

We realize that the inclusion in the bonu z scheme of daily paid employees with a minimum service qualification calls for additional supervision over the rolls of such staff, but any difficulties arising on this score should not be incapable of a fairly simple solution.
